OpenBionics is a hugely innovative company producing bionic limbs that can be 3D printed. They were a finalist in the Intel 'Make It Wearable' competition and won $200,000 to develop their ideas. They also won a James Dyson Award for their idea to create cheap prosthetic bionics for people all over the world.
Samantha Payne, the company's chief operations officer, talks at the Wearable Technology Show 2015 about the OpenBionics arm and hand, how it is the ultimate in wearable technology. The arm modelled by actress Grace Mandeville is embedded with Swarovski crystal and operates using electrical impulses from the shoulder muscles.
