I went out on the back porch the night after the most recent outing (September 5th), pointed the camera to the SSW at the dolphin and Altair, and this is what I recorded. It's about fifteen minutes of flashes occurring every three to four seconds at varying brightness, as the source travels slowly across the sky. This is similar to the sort of thing we saw a great deal of at the September 2008 CSETI training in Virginia. I've added some text notations and arrows, but otherwise the video is unedited - one long take.
Recorded in HD using a Panasonic HDC-TM700 camcorder in 1080/60p mode with an ATN NVM14-3A night vision monocular with a 1x lens. Edited using Sony Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum 10.0.
