Together is a film that shares stories about what its like to be a survivor of sexual violence on a college campus. Students at Bowdoin College submitted anonymous written stories about their own experiences and student actors perform these stories in the film in the context of a day-in-the-life of a Bowdoin student. While the film takes place at Bowdoin, these stories could and do take place on every college campus in the United States every day.
Only when we can understand that sexual violence personally affects all of us—whether it be directly or through a friend, daughter, boyfriend or classmate—will we be able to successfully eliminate it on college campuses and better support its survivors.
Together we can create a culture on college campuses that eliminates sexual assault and supports its survivors.
