Here's the missing part of our last year's pumptour. It's got a little video footage, and some very nice stills, shot by Julio.
We took part in the Trophée Dagnir Dae in Toulouse, which is part of the CPP (Challenge Paintball Pump), the french pump series. These events are held in the M7 format (X-Ball, race to 4) and each team has 6 games on one day.
It was about 35 to 40 degrees Celsius that day and it was the first tournament for Nicole, Phil and Torsten.
We were just 5 players (2 old men and 3 noobies) and our friends from team Toxic and the fieldowners Josey and Alex helped us with coaching our games.
Somehow we managed to win 4 of the 6 games and we were totally done in the end. It was definately one of the coolest events in my paintball life.
Well, I do have some comparison, from local to Millennium to Worldcup and I honestly tell you that if you want to experience paintball at it's very best, go to a CPP event in beautiful France.
