Shot during a camping trip to the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore. Shot exclusively with the Pentax-M 28mm f/2, a fantastic lens with beautiful and unique bokeh. I hadn't used it much before this trip and ended up using nothing else until I left because I fell in love with it so much.
I also hadn't shot much in black-and-white with my T2i and decided to do that just because I felt like it, and because I thought it was bringing out the unique qualities of this lens in interesting ways. Everything was done in-camera: the only shot that was altered in post in any way was the very last one, which I made a little darker.
The title was Jane's description of the day when the swimming footage was shot.
