During elections many citizens of Conakry are quitting the Guinean capital and moving to the village. Fearing electoral turmoil, they feel their families will be safer home in the countryside. Their major concern is whether they will be allowed to vote in a place different from the one of registration.
This clip is part of the project "The power is in the street", online diary of the first democratic elections in the history of Guinea that took place on June 27th 2010. It is also a collective film shot with the students from the Institut des Arts de Guinée (ISAG) of Dubreka. "The power is in the street" was shot in collaboration with the Ngo A.F.R.I.C.A. Guinée.
