This flight was made almost exactly a year after the flight for the previous Big Walker video, with the helmet mounted on the keel instead of the wingtip. The flight was over an hour, with an altitude gain of 1300 feet near the end.
The air was very turbulent at the beginning - notice the large control movements after launching, compared to later in the flight. Towards the end of the video I do a speed run along the ridge.
My flying companion in the video is a paraglider and fellow Skywacker ( http://skywackers.org ).
The battery in the Contour HD cam is rated for just over 1 hour. I hoped to get the landing in the video, and I landed after 1 hr 15 min. The video ends when the battery died - amazing timing!
