What would you give art for art's birthday? A little while ago while listening to music on shuffle, we heard our son's response. It never made the cut since it was recorded on a cell phone and promptly forgotten. We hope you find it as amusing as we do.
The original responses were aired on CFRC 101.9 FM during their Art's Birthday celebrations on January 17th, 2015 and can be heard via our soundcloud: soundcloud.com/decomposing-pianos/what-would-you-give-art-for-arts-birthday
More about "Art's Birthday" on artsbirthday.net/
"Art's Birthday" is an annual event first proposed in 1963 by French artist Robert Filliou. He suggested that 1,000,000 years ago, there was no art. But one day, on the 17th of January to be precise, Art was born. According to Filliou, it happened when someone dropped a dry sponge into a bucket of water. Modest beginnings, but look at us now.
