This was a Columbia Practicum in 2009 called Home Made. I was given this footage which was a challenge to work with. This was one of the key footage that made me want to become a VFX Supervisor. They had thrown large white X's all over the screen that the kids constantly crossed. But with a lot of masking and distracting lens flairs, you shouldn't even notice them. I was given a completely still image to work with for the background, which I took into illustrator and recreated it with layers that could be brought back into AE and animated.
