The lymphatic system is part of the immune system and regulates the body's water balance. It also serves as our sewage plant. Since the catastrophe of Fukushima, Mito is part of the region with heightened radioactivity. In this region, great demand is placed on the lymphatic system and it requires a lot of energy. This installation serves to strengthen the lymphatic system. A body measuring more than 10 meters and clad in survival film hangs from the ceiling. Visitors can lie beneath it and be absorbed into this enormous lymphatic system.
