emm's first radio single demanded something emerging, a line that starts something. the idea behind the video for "summer sun" was the establishment of a new rock act: excuse me moses. they come out of the dark, on a nightly shore, to perform a slow song with an intense bridge. as the tune proceeds, the battle against the elements grows tougher, the edits become quicker and harder. there's no way out, they have to finish the song against all odds, just like one has to pursue his goals, no matter what.
the setting at the beautiful wildlife reservatory lake at night becomes the audience: a vast black void, segregated by an endless water plane... deep shit.
