Isolated and ignored in the playground, Megan the new girl from Wales is having a tough day at school - and things are about to get a whole lot worse.
As her thoughts turn to stealing, she discovers that everything she does has consequences.
The film, part drama part documentary, by year six children at St John’s Primary School in Weymouth looks at the social and emotional learning programme Jigsaw through the eyes of the children taking part.
Over the course of a term in school, the young filmmakers have intercut their drama with documentary scenes from a series of Jigsaw lessons and an assembly, and brought Jigsaw’s colourful characters to life using stop frame animation.
Working with a filmmaker, dramatherapist and music producer from Dorset-based production company ScreenPLAY the group have created a piece of work which will be used across the UK and internationally to support the training of teachers to deliver the Jigsaw programme.
