Community outreach is a top priority for the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. On January 16th, deputies with the Ramona Sheriff's Substation and volunteers joined forces to cleanup the Santa Maria Creek. When deputies see homeless people in this area, they are given information about county services to help get their lives back together.
