Softwork; a concept of MMF bodywork with its focus on softness. Here an example wherein the whole body evades long and medium strikes, punches, kicks etc.. In doing this within attack range of the attacker, but without depending (to much) on your own arms and without counsiously preparing for a counterstrike or tensing/cramping/freezing up. Only having your guard up, with or without arms, relaxing the body, evading slow and visible attacks and synchronising speed and power with your partner (attacker gives 30% input, deflector trying to remain on 31%). Main assignement is to keep on moving, not being a static target and move naturally. In this example big body movements are made. Other excercises in this particular format can differ in closer distance, harder contact, smaller movements, more speed or legs stationary to name a few. This short video should be seen in a certain context being part of a constructive build up ending with realistic attacks and defences.
