The title is based on the concept of the work, to explore the sound of two spaces that have different size. One of these was shown in the work Pavilion.
I used for this installation four Akai tape recorders (series GX4000D and 4000DS), two microphones that were connected to the tapes and audio speakers with amplifiers.
Each pair of the tape recorders was connected via a loop which was moving through holes I had drilled in the wall between the two studios.
The first machine of each connected pair recorded the sound of the studio (the silence) on the tape; the other machine played the recorded sound of the studio (the silence) back 43 seconds later (the delay was due to the distance between the tape recorders) while the first one at that time started to record the atmosphere of the studio again. The reverberation of the room was added to the recorded material and the neverending circle resulted in sound interferences (feedback).
