This was the very first teaser trailer for Nuclear Dawn when it was coming toward Alpha stage. I sketched up a quick storyboard and did some basic animation in Flash and left the guys at Interwave to render the scenes out from the in-game engine. With the raw footage to hand, I set to work on all the post production effects. The text based cut-scenes had to evoke the feeling of a war torn environment, desolate, burning, and in the wake of warfare. So these scenes were crammed with keyed fire and smoke footage, coupled with lots of other additional lighting effects to create the final result you see here. Complex stuff at the time and damn good fun!
