Coming soon to Strike.TV, Bob Newhart makes his Internet premiere when he steps up to take THE CHALLENGE.
STRIKE.TV, and its first round of shows, were born out of the writers strike. Even though the writers strike is over, the collateral economic damage to the entertainment industry is still being felt today by the camera crews, technicians, wardrobe workers, carpenters, set decorators, makeup artists and a host of other below-the-line workers.
All of the people who worked on THE CHALLENGE donated their talents and time in support of a very worthy cause. The Actors Fund's Entertainment Assistance Program has been offering financial relief and other services to all those who have been negatively impacted. The EAP typically disburses around $200,000 annually. This year, they have already distributed over $1.3 million.
Strike.TV and its show creators will be donating all profits for the first three months from ad revenue to this wonderful charity.
And you can help, too. If you'd like to donate please go to actorsfund.org/support/donate/index_html and contribute what you can.
Thank you.
