Livable Green Lake campaigned for months to have the Seattle Department of Planning and Development endorse a meeting to address the environmental impact of a proposed project in the heart of the historical east Green Lake community.
Project 417 NE 73rd St will be a 6-story, 45-unit apartment complex with parking for 13 subcompact cars. It will replace the 19-stall parking lot currently used by Rosita's Mexican Grill. The net impact will be as many as 30-45 more vehicles competing for already scarce parking on NE 73rd St and nearby residential streets.
