For the 1998 Summer collection, Walter Van Beirendonck asked 70 dancers of dance school Ekkart for the final shownummer at the Fashion Show in Paris. Dancing a mixed cocktail of Tango, Samba, Rumba and Cha cha, all on techno music, with green rubber sleeves, gas masks and of course the haute couture collection of W<. Walter had asked us to choreograph and execute a super techno dance competition, in the near future. The crowd, consisting of 3000 fashion people and reporters, litterally went nuts during the show.
