BBC Pop Up is the BBC's travelling bureau, which relocates to a new city or country for a month at a time in order to film stories suggested by our audience. Our team of video journalists crowdsource all their story ideas through social media and via town meetings. Our three-person team then produces roughly 10 short films during the month taken from audience ideas, which run online and on BBC World television – the world's largest news network. Three of those films are then combined with behind-the-scenes footage and turned into a half-hour special, which is only available on television and through iPlayer. This is a private upload of our programme from Tacoma, Washington.
