Dr. Amanda M. Walter was a 2002 Martinsville High School graduate, and a Kendrick Foundation Scholar from 2008 to 2010. Dr. Walter obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry and French in 2006 from Butler University, followed by a Masters of Science Degree in Biology from Purdue University in 2007. During this time, she conducted part-time research in a laboratory working on hematologic effects of radiation. In 2007, Amanda started her medical training at IU School of Medicine, after which she completed a pediatric residency program through Riley Children's Hospital. In 2014, Amanda joined the Franciscan Physician Network as a pediatrician, and has been serving the community at Heartland Crossing Pediatrics in Mooresville.
