Innovate, adapt or die? While Information Technology provides much of the infrastructure in our organizations today, having implications on their governance, only an alignment to business and other organizational processes enables sustainable organizational agility.
On December 11 we hosted an event Agile transformations to facilitate knowledge exchange among the participating organizations (practitioners, change agents, researchers). This event is organised in cooperation with PWCNederland and CA Technologies Agile Central.
Keynote: Scaling agile @Nuon Business & IT; Lessons learned after the first 12 months of transformation
Bas Touw (Nuon)
At the beginning of 2015 Nuon embarked on the journey of implementing agile as the main way of working for marketing & sales (including IT). Bas Touw was leading this change program from the business side. Agile is used @ Nuon as means to reach a goal (getting an organization that is more effective and focus on most valuable things first).
Bas will share how they run this change program by sharing practical examples. What worked well, but more important what did not work as planned. The keynote will also give insight on the underlying issue; how to get sustainable change in place with agile, while organisation is very busy with their normal work
