Part installation, all opera, THUNDER, PERFECT MIND, is an immersive spectacle for soprano, percussion, long tuned wires, vocal ensemble, concert/street musicians, suspended string trio, video/visual installation, and dance. Creation mythologies, Gnostic cosmologies, the myth of Sophia, and an original set of immersive/interactive instruments collide in an individual journey of self-discovery. Spectators follow Sophia and Eve through worlds and generations, while navigating the performance space, surrounding and surrounded by the action, interacting with instruments and performers.
