It’s not that S/S Stockholm is extremely old. Even my bicycle is older ( 1928 ), but
S/S Stockholm is a beautiful ship with an interesting history.
Build in Oskarshamn 1931, for the Royal general postal mail board of directors, for traffic between Kalmar and the island Öland.

Later in 1957 she was sold and put in traffic between Sweden and Finland at Umeå-Wasa were she also manage car transports.(!) That is, really heavy ice areas.

At 1967 she become stab ship for the finish marine
At 1998 she was saved from the junkyard by Strömma kanalbolag and renovated to a floating jewel and today you can take a lunch or dinner cruise with history feeling.
