Exclusive behind the scenes first look of the Nocturnal x Fawohodie lookbook collaboration for the upcoming Issue IV.
As part of our Nocturnal Promotions we collaborated with Fawohodie, a brand under the Freedom Project Charity which transforms traditional Ghanaian fabrics into western cuts such as jumpsuits and co-ord garms to create sustainable employment for young creatives in Ghana.
For Issue IV we're looking into 'Heirloom' – what, as a society or individually, has been passed on to our current generation and what we dispute, associate with or can learn from.
To explore this theme further in our collaboration we also partnered up with Bristol Textile Recyclers, and using their factory backdrop we fully immersed ourselves in all things textiles.
Issue IV drops on 18 | 02 | 16 at our \NctrnlLive event which also launches our new website on http://www.nctrnl.co.uk. With a night of live performances, spoken word, a fashion show and DJs as well as interactive installations, there are prizes to be won throughout the night.
