Deborah L. Wilke, M.S., LCPC, NCP, DAPA
is a noted guest speaker at international conferences and workshops. She has been interviewed for publications and television specials, particularly as it relates to treating the issues of sexual orientation and gender identity. She has also guest lectured to medical students in the area and has taught various seminars to clinicians and members of the community alike.
Ms. Wilke is an adjunct faculty member for the College of DuPage and maintains an active practice serving largely LGBT populations. She received her Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology from Benedictine University in 1995 and is currently a doctoral student at Argosy University.
She is formally trained in art and music therapies, guided imagery, play therapy, psychosynthesis, and voice dialogue, as well as the more traditional talk therapy.
Ms. Wilke is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, a Nationally Certified (Master's Level) Psychologist, and a Fellow of the American Psychotherapy Association. Ms. Wilke is also a member of WPATH- World Professional Association for Transgender Health.
