The Fight is one of six fights from my Action/Martial Arts feature film. The feature is currently in development and I 'm seeking funding for the project.
The Fight took three and a half hours to do; filming and choreograph the fight sequences. Time was limited for us and I like to thanks Caro and his dad for letting us using his garage/arch (for those 3 and a half hours of valuable time).
Due to limited time of using the place and creating the fight sequences we didn't have much time to rehearse. So after a couple of times going through it we just shot it.
Most of the fight sequences were improvised as we were filming. Thanks to Sifu King and his student, Hilary, (after years of training and sparring) they knew exactly what they're doing and no one got hurt.
The improvisation gives the film a rawness and the hand help camera gives it a documentary style to the film.
I have added dialogues at the end to give the film more dynamic and plot, so that it stands on it's own as a short film.
