366247•2012 is a time-based piece rooted in still photography and presented as a video or video projection. The more than 250,000 still images, presented as a photographic stop-motion animation, allows the viewer to witness my day-to-day routines, the same acts that everyone engages in on a regular or daily basis. In interacting with the piece, the past and future are viewed simultaneously, regardless of whether I or the viewer can foresee the outcome. Ultimately, a year in my life is presented in just under an hour, offering others the opportunity to vicariously participate and find meaning in my actions while also reexamining their own unrecognized minutes, hours and days.
