Listen to the networked A.O.S.C.-Agents improvising with the A.O.S.C.-Synthesiser.
This piece is a live recording from the performance on feb 21 2016.
AGENTS OF SYNCHRONICITY is an innovative new work by blackhole-factory that draws on Anthropocenic notions of the autonomous nature of dispersed environmental events, and their repercussions on the world in which we live. Five microphone agents installed in remote international locations stream environmental acoustic events, as data, for an algorithm to manipulate pure sound frequencies, a 3D printer and LED lights from a central machine server. This autonomous machine agent performance incorporates indeterminate soundscapes and 3D printed objects produced from synchronous collisions of random acoustic events in each dispersed location.
