An AR/Mobile Narrative Experience made in 32 hours for the 2016 #GettyJam, organized by The Getty and USC Games.
This is the gameplay for #GettyTravelers, a story-led interactive experience that encourages the combination of physical exploration in the museum space with an educational, social digital game. Through an engaging narrative, the idea is to lead the player to know more about a piece’s function, historical context, hidden symbolism and how objects in an exhibition might relate to each other, while also encouraging conversation about how art is viewed. This experience has the potential to also have an online component, where the player can keep track of his/her performance, play with or against friends, share pictures of the patterns they capture, etc.
