When Terry, Lara and their extended Viking family set out on their usual Northern route to conquer and pillage, the boat is wildly blown off course and they find themselves completely lost, traveling South…then a little East…and a little further East… until finally they land on mainland China. “It is our destiny to invade this new land!” exclaims their infamously dim-witted but forever loveable father and Viking leader, Eric the Big, “And this must be California!” Terry, the oldest son is being groomed to become the next great warrior … but, as a typical teenager, he has little to no interest and often slacks off in his responsibilities. Lara, on the other hand, is dying to fill this role… however, “Girls are not allowed on Viking Adventures! Go help your mother in the kitchen” commands her father. Determined to fulfill her dreams, Lara disguises herself as Lars from the other village, and proves to her prowess as a rising star again and again. Only problem is that the overall mission proves to be nearly impossible for this poorly equipped and mostly inept group of warriors, as the Chinese treat them more like a mild nuisance, rather than a major military force to be reckonded with.
