In this teaching, Dr. Don G. Pickney unveils (Part Two) of #3 in a 7 part series entitled, "How to Develop Miracle Action in Your Life." This weeks teaching is subtitled, "Walk in the Spirit." Here are the seven steps to develop miracle action in your life:
1. Let Every Word Be Established
2. Be Not Afraid
3. Walk in the Spirit
4. Believe on the Name of Jesus
5. Use the Law of Agreement
6. Know When to Pray, Exhort, Command or Teach
7. We are a Miracle Working Family
This week, Pastor Don goes deeper into the aspect of walking in the Spirit. Last week he introduced it discussing the necessity of a close relationship with God: a deep abiding love and commitment for Lord Jesus, a close fellowship with the Father, and a submission to Holy Spirit.
Now he is taking us into the vital discipline necessary to a life in the spirit. You will be given the secrets of the "light of Jehovah," described in the KJV Bible as "the candle of the Lord." The scripture says it is deeply hidden in your innermost being, hidden and concealed to be searched out to give you light on life's pathway. Those who find how to access that great hidden resource will walk in the spirit.
You will learn about the conscience and the role it plays in bringing you into a deeper life of the spirit. You will learn how to be more sensitive to that small inner voice that either accuses you of wrong doing or validates your decisions and actions.
Pastor Don also speaks about the element of "peace" in walking in the spirit. Isaiah says, "The voice of righteousness shall be peace, and the effect, calmness and assurance. (Isaiah 32:17) The Apostle Paul wrote:
Colossians 3:15 AMP "And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].
Pastor Don says, "When you were brought into Christ through the New Birth we were given a "peaceful state" in which to live. Jesus said, 'My peace if leave you, not as the world give to you. Let not your heart be troubled.' If you find yourself out of that place of peace, something is wrong. You will need to reposition yourself as soon as possible to move back into a place of peace. This is why Paul called 'peace' the umpire, settling with all finality the questions of the mind."
Finally in this teaching, you will find out the necessity of praying in the spirit (speaking in tongues) in order to build yourself up and strengthen yourself spiritually so that you can hear the voice of the spirit.
Get ready for much revelation of the scriptures as you follow this teaching.
