Seminar on teaching comparative religion, with a case study on the development of an introductory single semester undergraduate university general education lecture based subject that covers the major religions of East, South and West Asia, emphasizing pluralism and cultural diversity and attempting to strike a balance between religious beliefs and ritual practices. Includes reflections on teaching methods and course materials, with observations from having first developed the course at an international university in Japan. Presented by Professor J.
