No matter how many times we read it, some people don't believe the Canon 60D shifts down to 480 SD during recording. Just a quick video showing how it sits at 1080 during monitoring, but drops to 480 during recording. Hope this clears things up. This is the same for the 5DM2 and t2i cameras also.
