Ok just about done, some minor fixes here and there, but I want to move on to the splash reaction element, and hell more FX! I have all sorts of ideas I want to explore.
I learned a lot with this effect, and can't wait to start on my next one. Biggest "doh!" moment was when I figured to color balance the separate elements in Photoshop not cascade. Thats much easier.
The negative is this has no context, well I'm planning on sharing it with an indie developer who inspired this effect, and get it into game working.
(obviously I'll turn off the backward moving velocities for in game)
