“ΑΡΧΙΤΕΚΤΟΝΙΚΗ + ΧΟΡΟΣ”

Λίγα λόγια για την έρευνα....

Η έρευνα της αρχιτέκτονος & χορογράφου Σοφίας Κονδυλιά αφορά στην ανίχνευση σημείων τομής στη συνθετική διεργασία αρχιτεκτονικής και χορού. Η συσχέτιση των δύο τεχνών στηρίζεται στη αντίληψη πως και οι δύο τέχνες δημιουργούν χώρο μέσα από την κίνηση των σωμάτων. Το σώμα αντιλαμβάνεται, δημιουργεί και κατανοεί το χώρο και τη δυναμική του με τρόπο κιναισθητικό.

Και το εργαστήρι...

Στα εργαστήρι σύνθεσης solo “Αρχιτεκτονική + Χορός” η χορογράφος κωδικοποιεί την έρευνα και εφαρμόζει συνθετικά εργαλεία αρχιτεκτονικής και χορογραφίας διερευνώντας τη λειτουργία και την εξέλιξή τους επάνω σε έργα άλλων δημιουργών. Στόχος του εργαστηρίου είναι η ανατροφοδότηση και εξέλιξη της έρευνας μέσα από την πράξη. Μέσα στο εργαστήρι κάθε συμμετέχων δημιουργεί ένα αυτόνομο solo έργο, διάρκειας έως πέντε λεπτών, επάνω σε μία αρχική θεματική του ιδέα. Αρχικά, οι συμμετέχοντες εκπαιδεύονται να ανιχνεύσουν τις εσωτερικές τάσεις και τους νόμους που διέπουν το σώμα τους και στη συνέχεια ανακαλύπτουν σταδιακά την πριμιτιβιστική μέθοδο της χορογράφου, την οποία χρησιμοποιούν για να διαμορφώσουν τον χώρο της συνθετικής τους ιδέας. Στους συνθετικούς τρόπους που προτείνει η χορογράφος γίνεται χρήση αρχιτεκτονικών και χορογραφικών εργαλείων.

Οι συμμετέχοντες του εργαστηρίου είναι χορευτές, performers, σπουδαστές χορού, αρχιτέκτονες, εικαστικοί και απόφοιτοι ΑΣΚΤ.

“ARCHITECTURE + DANCE”

A few words about the research…

“Architecture + Dance” research of the architect & choreographer Sofia Kondylia aims at tracking points of intersection between the synthetic process of architecture and dance. The correlation of both arts was based on the perception that both arts create space through the movement of the bodies. The body perceives, creates and understands space and its dynamics in a kinesthetic way.

And the workshop…

In the choreography workshop “Architecture + Dance” the choreographer encodes and applies architectural and choreographic synthetic devices, exploring their use and development on other artists’ creations. Objective of the workshop is to feedback and develop the research throughout practice. Each participant in the workshop creates an independent solo piece, lasting up to five minutes, based on his initially general idea. At first, the participants are trained to trace the inner tensions and laws that govern their body and then they gradually discover the choreographer’s primitivistic method used to form the space of their idea. Within the synthetic means, both architectural and choreography devices are used.

The participants are dancers, performers, architects, visual artists and graduates of the Athens School of Fine Arts.
