The aviation community, and our country, has lost a pioneer, a legend and an amazing person. I had the privilege of filming this short interview with Betty Strohfus on September 26, 2015. Betty was a featured guest at the Global Girls in Aviation Day event at the Downtown St. Paul Airport. Loved by all who met her, she will be greatly missed. Betty served our country during WWII as a Women Airforce Service Pilot (or WASP).
Betty passed away peacefully, on Sunday, March 6, 2016. She was 96 years young. Her life and example will continue to inspire.
