Over the course of 6 weeks, I chased my pen with the mighty GoPro shooting over 43K images. I clearly have used nowhere near that many in this video - otherwise it would've turned out to be a very boring, 20 minute dig nobody would've cared to watch.
This is a recreation of the famous image, Coast Guard Photo #2343, captured by Coast Guard Photographers Mate Robert F. Sargent on the morning of June 6, 1944. This Coast Guard manned LCVP stormed Omaha Beach landing in the Fox Green section at 7:30am. The drawing and video are dedicated to the bravest of men and women who fought and gave their lives to ensure the freedom we enjoy today.
