A tape drawing installation at the New Zealand Maritime Museum made by Tape Art NZ with animated projections along with a soundscape by Christine White. Students from Papatoetoe Intermediate and Western Springs College also learn tape drawing and create their own collaborative murals. From 26 February – 12 June 2016
‘Once Upon An Ocean’ tells stories of exploration, immigration and imagination. It speaks to all those things that make us who we are. It is about the stories passed down through generations. The nostalgic motifs woven into the installation will inspire you to share memories with whanau and loved ones.
