This was the second time I had the privilege to ride down the California Coast with the Arthritis Foundation. This time an iPhone 4 was used to capture all the video and still images. hehe That's quite a bit lighter and smaller than the Sony HD camera I lugged around in '08. I was able to capture more moments with the iPhone 4 because it was more easily accessible while on the bike and it was always in my pocket which allowed me to capture moments like the flying tents. (Of course, the images aren't as smooth and slick as a dedicated camera with image stabilization, but I think it worked out well enough.)
Again, this year's ride was a marquis life experience---530 miles over 8 days--September 25-October 2, 2010. The weather was nicer than in 2008, especially the first few days.
I enjoyed riding a road bike this time as opposed to the mountain bike in 2008.
Once again, I enjoyed doing the event with my cousin. And it was fun seeing people from the '08 tour and meeting a bunch of new people on this one.
Many people asked if I composed the music in my '08 video. (I didn't.) So this year, the music at the end of the video was composed by me.
Thanks again to all the people who donated to my ride!
