The Way of Aluna:
The Kogi, an ancient people of aboriginal America perceive landscape through Aluna, the way of the mother. The concept refers to spirit, life, thought, memory. A vision of oneness with the natural world, the way of Aluna is a permanent pilgrimage to the womb of the mother, to the origin of life. Aluna is the recognition that we are the forest and the rain, the bird and the wind, the wave and the sea. Traditional Kogi song by Alicia Jandigua, Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, Colombia.
