Porto, located on the Douro River estuary, is the second largest city in Portugal. The sights of the city include baroque churches; the São Bento railway station, built in 1916, with tile panels depicting the history of Portugal; and the beautiful Lello & Irmão Bookshop, built in 1906. A funicular railway runs down a steep cliff from central Porto to the quayside on the river. Along the opposite bank of the river are port wine cellars, which can be accessed by a cable car from the upper part of the Vila Nova de Gaia.
I made this movie from still images taken on a visit in June 2015.
