The question that kept my mind busy for a quite long time was, if our body can ever become silent. When it comes to all physical processes, I would say no, never until we are alive. However, there are moments when we feel that our body becomes very calm, almost silent. Most of us know this experience as a state directly before the deep sleep comes. Just some small impulses over all our body left, and as our relaxation deepens, muscles loosen and nerve transmission changes. This produces a very calm and light feeling in the body. You feel very still and somewhat divorced from the body. However is it possible to achieve such a state in a slow movement? In dance? Thanks to dancer Lukas van Buuren for help and De Kaping for the space.
