This work is a contemporary tribute to Sophie Calle's Suite Vénitienne. We followed people anonymously through the streets of Strassbourg (FR), collected information about their behavior and transformed this into an architectural shadow play with tracks and stories.
Although completly legal, already after a few minutes of following people it feels like an act of treason. And even if you to be objective, time will learn that registration never is.
Sophie Calle realized that she could characterize people, registering them and collecting information about them. She most certainly didn't realize that the big internet companies are doing that same thing via web and smart devices.
