On January 30, 1997, Jim Trelease had the opportunity to have a cup of coffee and conversation with his childhood hero, Dodgers announcer Vin Scully. In 2009, Jim recalled their visit for Dick Gordon on his public radio show, "The Story" (no longer on air). This is a recording of that interview, complete with photos by Jim and archival resources. Its primary intention is for Jim's grandchildren and eventually their children.
