FSU First Year Abroad: Fallas in Valencia 2016

Fallas is a festival unlike anything I've ever experienced. This video features the various things that I've seen, from the Mascletàs (firework shows) to la Cremà (the burnings). People from all walks of life come to Valencia, nearly tripling Valencia's population, to bask in the glory of the fires from the burning, gargantuan, paper machè statues called "Fallas." The festivals overall meaning is to pay homage to the "Valencian Woman." Food and sweets galore and placed in stands all over city. The district of Ruzafa displays perhaps one of the greatest light shows on the Planet. Fallas is a once in a lifetime experience; make sure it's on your bucket list. Enjoy!
