Cultural Heritage Imaging
Look at the fine surface details in the plaster of the Diego Rivera Mural, Pan American Unity. This video shows results from detailed 3D imaging collected using the Photogrammetry technique to document and support conservation and research of the surface shape and color of this magnificent artwork. Painted by Rivera in 1940 on Treasure Island at the Golden Gate International Exposition, the 22ft by 74 ft mural is at City College of San Francisco.
