Here's a short film we made, which takes the viewer on a small adventure through a chain making factory in Greater Manchester (UK). We filmed most shots in early 2016 on a Sony FS7 with various lenses, and we also made use of a GoPro Hero 4 Black.
I love the slow motion shots here which we shot on the FS7, which show the beautiful movements of objects which are being machined daily in this factory. The company (Renold) manufacture chains for all types of needs, from large scale industrial machines to smaller and more precise needs - such as midair refuelling tube for the air force.
We spent the day on location in the factory, and were shown the machines in action. The factory is used daily, and some of the machines are quite old & used. However, we wanted to focus on the industrious nature of the factory and it's workers - and I think we pulled it off. Hope you enjoy it - Feral Films.
