"A lot can happen in a few thousand years."
A multi-media, experimental, animated film produced as part of the Toronto Public Library's "Artists in the Library" programme, out of the Scarborough Civic Centre branch and with Toronto Animated Image Society (TAIS). Utilising animation created by members of the community, generated at workshops I taught through the autumn of 2015, we see some of the historical, geological, and geographical factors that have led to the region being one of the most diverse in the city of Toronto. Techniques include: object animation, sand, paper-puppets, collage style, silhouette puppets, hyper-lapse, and clay. Funding provided by Toronto Arts Council.
