Every year, I get the opportunity to work with a talented development team to encourage donors to generously support children so they can attend the Y Summer Programs, regardless of their ability to pay.
In these times of hardship, we ask that individuals help kids who would otherwise never enjoy the benefits of a Y summer camp.
Last weekend, on November 15th, the YMCA of the North Shore held it's annual fundraising Gala. Beth Francis, the Chief development Officer for the YMCA of the North Shore noted, "Thought you might like to know that your wonderful work paid off big on Saturday night. We raised $75,350 in camperships at the gala... Most ever. The night was a huge success. Thank you for your wonderful expertise."
